SAR is very near and dear to our hearts at DroneBoy and we are always looking for opportunities to work with local First Responders in order to assist wherever and whenever the need arises. Drones with powerful zoom cameras, night vision, FLIR, onboard range finders and a host of other technical sensor payloads have proven to be extremely valuable tools for search and rescue operations.
DroneBoy is currently flying the DJI M350 drone with the amazing “Swiss Army knife” of sensor packages – the DJI H30T. This extremely capable aerial platform coupled with DJI FlightHub 2 allows us to share live and extremely detailed views from above with ground Teams via a secure data connection. This real time eye in the sky can be a very powerful asset in any SAR scenario.
We have mastered this technology and are available to help.
WIDE ANGLE CAMERA – This allows us to easily scan large areas quickly and easily from above. This photo and video camera is 4K/48MP resolution .
Zoom Camera – This allows us to zoom in on a specific area and capture stabilized photos and video over 1km away. This photo and video camera is a 4k/40MP with a 34X Optical Zoom and a stabilized 400X Digital Zoom.
Enhanced Night Vision Camera with IR Spotlight – This allows us to see in total darkness and provides an infrared spotlight to illuminate subjects in our video feed up to 100m away.
FLIR Thermal Camera – This allows us to “see heat” which is the very best way to detect people or animals from a distance and to find life quickly in a large search area.
Laser Range Finder With GPS Waypoints – This allows us to accurately measure the distance to what our cameras see up to 3km away. We can then drop a waypoint and share that waypoint’s distance and GPS data with ground based team members.
DJI FlightHub 2 – We can livestream all of the above and share these valuable views from above with anyone on our secure network.
CONTACT US TODAY if you are in need of SAR drone services. Our Team is based just outside Toronto Ontario but we own and operate a light twin aircraft giving us the ability to deploy quickly all over eastern Canada and the north.
